My sis is twelve years younger than I and just in first grade when I went off to college. Now, we are great friends. I wish she lived closer.

Your garden really is spectacular. I am a bit envious. No place to garden here.

You are great in the friendship. Perhaps you are better in small groups, but you are truly a person one can turn to for advice. I know. I have done so.

Sally Wesselyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06470453773515491625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356815487392618550.post-5928825487795656462014-07-18T08:54:26.009-07:002014-07-18T08:54:26.009-07:00Love the garden. (No grandkids yet..) and holding a baby, watching a baby smile.. wonders of the world! I also volunteer with Meals on Wheels and see the other end of the age spectrum ,the 80 and 90 yr. olds who look forward to a daily visit as well as a hot meal.. such is the circle of life! Enjoy the rest of you summer... The shade would be very welcome this time of year, but I hate to cut out the light in the winter. #1Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04214011945298439939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356815487392618550.post-46756940585392032642014-07-14T15:18:15.132-07:002014-07-14T15:18:15.132-07:00Linda,...A hobby I got involved in when I moved to...Linda,...A hobby I got involved in when I moved to SC was "plant identification." Do you know the type of grape vine you have? Is it native to Washington? We have muscadines and "summer grapes" growing wild here abouts.Lesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09946014341628798971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356815487392618550.post-83326066418560837422014-07-14T13:44:22.350-07:002014-07-14T13:44:22.350-07:00I think it's wonderful that your sister and yo...I think it's wonderful that your sister and you are getting to know each other at 58 and 65. I was 10 when my sister married and moved to Mexico. She did move back to New Orleans eventually, but by then I was married and living in Texas. But we were starting to get to know each other when she died of cancer at 50. So I'm glad you and your sister have this time...Rianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09472421271620543536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8356815487392618550.post-47888694458222540872014-07-14T13:28:38.514-07:002014-07-14T13:28:38.514-07:00This is the most laid back and relaxed post I have...This is the most laid back and relaxed post I have read of yours. Usually you are so full of activity and accomplishments. Good to see you enjoying more and doing less.
Isn't it wonderful to have company that brings their own house? To me that is the perfect situation. You can enjoy each other but still have your privacy. Also it will be good to have them house sitting while you are gone.
