If they say, it's not far, just over there, expect it to be far, farther than just over there.<br /><br />We took a walking safari when I was in Kenya in May. The Kenyans pointed to a hill miles in the distance and said it would only take an hour and a half to walk there and an hour and a half to walk back. Seven hours later we stumbled back into camp, hot, tired and thirsty. But the walk had been worth it.
