We took a two-hour swamp tour before lunch and our drive back to the Houston airport.

I know what you mean; swamps are beautiful but very strange to those of us who aren't used to them.
I think swamps are intriguing...you know, most eerie movies were made in swamps and I have those in my head! I think I'll visit during the day light hours :)

Swamps can be beautiful and intriguing. We lived in Louisiana for two years when our children were little. It's a unique culture.
